Eve of Destruction

Jill Denison sharing one of the most pertinent protest songs by Barry McGuire. I met Barry at one of his Christian concerts in the late 1970s and recently contact him by email. He reasoned very graciously. Interestingly enough, one of his first a Christian song was almost a segue to this song called “Don’t Blame God For the Sins of America.” I wrote an article about both of them a few months back.

  2. And thanks again, Padre!!! I appreciate you sharing my posts … more than I can say. This one … I just keep playing it, for it keeps on being so very apt. As for the title of his other one, “Don’t Blame God For the Sins of America,” … that is so spot on, isn’t it? Sigh. I hope we come out of this, though I think the past 4 years will go down in history as one of the darkest periods of this nation.
