    Greetings, I found your site researching posts about the White Rose which I stumbled on earlier this year looking at websites regarding Resistance. Its amazing that in reading about Nazi Germany that there seem to be so many parallels to today. Now I am in no way equating today’s leaders and certain portions of the population to Nazis but language, methods and actions sound very similar. I know that education today especially for young people has to fit so many subjects and topics into their time slots so civics and history and probably humanities get the short shrift, but I wonder why curriculums cant be more creative. Like teach some courses in short bullet time slots and hand out creative reading lists.
    Anyway I look forward to reading this blog and learning more history I did not know about.

      Thank you. Right now most of my effort is going in to getting my edits and index ready to meet my contract for my book “Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory!” Racism, Religion, Ideology and Politics in the Civil War Era and Why they Matter Today.” In the meantime I will occasionally post new material or older articles.
